Schreiner University Student Achievement Showcase slated for April 22

Student Achievement Showcase

Every year, Schreiner University shines a spotlight on its bright and talented students and their hard work through the Student Achievement Showcase—an event where students present posters, oral presentations, artwork and performances on original research, creative accomplishments and other projects.

The community is invited to the 2014 Schreiner Student Achievement Showcase from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, in the Floyd & Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center.

“This public event is an opportunity for students to present original scholarly and artistic work to the campus community and beyond,” said Dr. Chris Distel, assistant professor of biology. “This event goes beyond classroom assignments by asking students to capture a novel contribution to their academic field and present it to a general audience.”

In conjunction with the Schreiner University Academic Fair, the 15th annual Pop Culture Symposium will explore 4 to 5 p.m. April 22 in the Kathleen & Floyd Cailloux Campus Center on SU campus.
