Schreiner Sorority Collecting Prom Dresses for Hill Country Youth Ranch
For the fourth year in a row the sisters of Delta Phi Epsilon sorority at Schreiner University are collecting prom dresses for their Cinderella Project. The Cinderella Project is an event held for young women at the Hill Country Youth Ranch in preparation for their yearly prom. The dresses and makeovers provided will give these young women a chance to attend their prom in style and help build self-esteem and confidence.
"We love being able to give these girls an opportunity to pamper themselves and show them that the community cares," said Ashley Rodriguez, philanthropy chair for Delta Phi. “It’s a beautiful process and you can really see how it impacts these young ladies.”
If you have a gently worn formal dress that you would like to donate, please drop it off at the Office of Student Activities and Volunteer Services on the first floor of the Floyd & Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center on the Schreiner campus. Donations will be accepted until April 18.
