The Texas Music Coffeehouse Series continues Wednesday, March 7, 2018 with a performance by award-winning young singer Marisa Rose Mejia.
Mejia is a 12 year-old recording artist from San Antonio, Texas and is inspired and influenced by other legendary artists such as Lola Beltran, Selena, Juan Gabriel, and Adele. Her set includes a cariety of cover songs in English and Spanish. The young artist even plays guitar and violin. She recently released her debut single, “Vueltas Y Vueltas.”
The performance takes place in the Lion’s Den in the Floyd and Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center on the Schreiner University campus. The event runs from 7pm -9pm and includes an open-mic portion.
