  2005 SFSA Board Officers

The Schreiner Former Students Association
welcomed four national board officers in 2005. These dedicated individuals are all committed to helping the association reach its full potential in the coming years.

Donna Gay ’74, president of SFSA, and her husband Creston live in Houston where she serves as human resources manager for Wilson Industries. After graduating from Schreiner in 1974 with an associate’s degree, she went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Texas at Austin. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in psychology. She is actively involved in extra curricular and volunteer activities. (See related story on page 26.)

William “Cliff” Kellett ’50, vice president of SFSA, and his wife May live on Lake Livingston in Livingston, Texas, where he is involved with many charitable organizations. Cliff enjoys fishing, hunting, and being involved with community and social activities.

Lea Siebold Nye ’92, secretary of SFSA, and her husband Kyle ’94 live in San Antonio with their newborn son Sam, and are very active with their family, friends, jobs and church. Lea graduated from Schreiner in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a teacher’s certificate. In 1997 she earned her master’s from Our Lady of the Lake University. Lea is employed as a compensation design consultant for SBC Communications.

Jeanette Ball-Reyes ’95, treasurer for SFSA, and her husband Jose live in San Antonio where she is the director of staff development with Southwest Independent School District. She received her master’s degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Texas A&M University. Her involvement with the former students association is one that she treasures. Her hobbies include reading, nature walking and spending time with family.

The Schreiner Former Students Association held its bi-annual board and committee meetings on campus September 16 and 17. Several former students have recently chosen to assume positions of leadership within the SFSA. Generally, former students begin service to SFSA on one of the Association’s five standing committees. Additional board members are normally selected from among those serving on a committee. Committee members are welcome and encouraged to attend both of the board’s regular, bi-annual meetings, one in September and one at Recall. If you are interested in participating in the Former Students Association, please contact Donna Riojas Gay ’74, president of SFSA: 1-800-228-3194 or dgay@wilson.com.
