  Schreiner Former Students Association

Last Spring’s Recall ’05, redesigned significantly from previous Recalls, was a huge success! Scores of verbal praises and pages of written comments were received from those who attended.

Fun and less costly events and activities resulted in significantly increased attendance by both the older and the younger former students, and increased participation of current students. All this, with a 33 percent reduction of costs!

Not to rest on their laurels, the board and committees of SFSA are busy now planning for an even better Recall 2006.

Success and growth in 2005 has set the stage for a grand Recall 2006 scheduled for March 31–April 2, featuring:

• 5K run/walk

• Former student art exhibit

• Athletes reception

• Texas High School Football (not a team—a band and a fun evening)

• Alumni/student sports

• Casino night

• Tour and lunch in Boerne

• 21st annual golf tournament

• Military tribute breakfast

• Recognition of Golden Grads (’56)

• Special former student recognitions

• Family picnic (including children’s games, lots of family visiting, fine food & drink, student competitions, decade recognitions and photos)

• Texas Music Coffeehouse

• Lots of time for just visiting and reminiscing
