Welcome! On behalf of the Schreiner University and the Campus Safety Office, we are pleased to welcome you into our campus community. The University has always been committed to providing a safe and secure campus and does its utmost to ensure an environment that is safe for studying, working, or visiting. Because knowledge is so important please familiarize yourself with the information in the Campus Crime and Security Report. You will learn about campus crime statistics, campus safety and security policies and procedures. The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act is the landmark federal law, originally known as the Campus Security Act that requires colleges and universities across the United States to disclose information about crime on and around their campuses. Schools must publish an annual report disclosing campus security policies and three years of selected crime statistics. The University uses the Handbook for Campus Crime Reporting in the preparation of the report. Your questions concerning any information in the report as well as your suggestions for improvement are welcomed and may be submitted by e-mail to dflores@schreiner.edu or by calling the Schreiner University Campus Safety and Security at (830) 792-7440.

Preparing the Annual Campus Crime and Security Report
The SU Campus Safety Office compiles and publishes the annual security report by October 1st of each year. The Campus Safety and Security compiles statistics from the Kerrville Police Department for the Schreiner University Campus. Also, reportable incidents in Safety Office files will be included if they have not been included in the police statistics.
