VEHICLE REGISTRATION
Vehicle registration is simple and easy. To register, come to the Security Office, located on the 1st floor of Tom Murray with your car information (including license plate number).

You will fill out a parking permit application. At that time you will be issued a parking permit decal. You may receive two parking permit decals per semester at no charge. After two decals, there will be a fee for any additional ones.

PARKING DESIGNATIONS

Visitors can park in designated visitor parking spots across campus. At this time, no special visitor permit is required upon entering the campus. Parking lots are monitored Monday through Thursday between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:30 pm and on Fridays 7:30 am until 12:00 noon, with the exception of Residence Halls, which are monitored 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Handicapped Parking: The Handicap spaces are for individuals who have handicapped license plates and/or hanging tags.

Commuter Parking: Parking is restricted to the parking lots designated for commuters. Parking lots are as follows: Central lot, Hanszen Fine Arts lot, Edington Center, West lot, and North Parking A lot.

Pecan Grove Resident Parking: Parking is restricted to the spaces surrounding the apartment buildings. Only one vehicle per student allowed at Pecan Grove at any one time.

Resident Student Parking: Parking is restricted to your assigned residence parking lot. Resident overflow parking is located in the tennis court lot.

Employee Parking: Employees are to park in designated areas such as: Hoon Hall, West lot, Tom Murray, Edington Center, Central Lot, A.C. Schreiner Hall, Hanszen Fine Arts, Cailloux Campus Activity Center, on Hammond Dr. next to the Guy Griggs Maintenance Office, in front of the Elaine B. Griffin Welcome Center, and North Parking A lot.

Vocational Nurses Parking:   Parking is restricted to the Central Lot only. 

VEHICLE SAFETY TIPS
- Do not leave valuables in your vehicle or in plain view. Jewelry, cash, apparel, etc. is an attraction to potential thieves.
- When exiting your vehicle make sure your windows are rolled up and doors are locked.
- When walking to your vehicle, be sure to have your key in hand so you are not standing outside the car for a period of time.
- Avoid parking in dark secluded areas.
