Schreiner University has a campus security
office staffed by Security Officers Licensed by
the Texas Department of Public Safety. Campus
Security staff have a strong working
relationship with local law enforcement
agencies. The local Police Department will
respond to calls for emergency assistance.
Security Officers have the right to require
identification of any person on the property.
Also, in accordance with state law, no person
may refuse or fail to leave a building under the
control of the University during those hours
when the building is regularly closed to the
public. Campus Security personnel will summon
local law enforcement, emergency response
personnel or University officials as warranted
by the situation. SU Security Officers do not
have the authority to execute an arrest.
