Who/what/where inspires you & why? I am inspired by my father, Dr. Donald Vines, a retired surgeon and army colonel, because he served in Vietnam and Desert Storm and has always been there for me throughout my life. I am inspired by our military because they are each one willing to give the ultimate sacrifice to keep us free. I am inspired by the Texas Hill Country's beautiful scenery and wildlife because it makes me feel blessed.

Favorite class to teach @ SU & why: CHEM 3411, because I love organic chemistry, and it's my first opportunity to engage the students into this realm of chemistry.
Why do you like Schreiner? There are so many reasons that I love Schreiner. First, it is a Christian affiliated university. Second, its faculty and staff are the most dedicated and caring people. Third, it has the best students! Fourth, I think it is in the most beautiful location in Texas.
