Why
do you like Schreiner? When I first moved to Kerrville and
drove on campus to look around, I completely fell in love with the
grounds and the architecture of the buildings. I knew I had to work
here. After I was hired and met everyone, it was like being welcomed
into a family. When the students came in the fall, it was all so exciting.
What Schreiner events do you enjoy?
Of
course, my favorite would be registration. I love being with the students
and especially meeting the new ones.
Favorite food: I would have to say my
absolute favorite is Chinese.
Favorite movie: Gosh, that is hard to
say. There are several: Westside Story; The Sound
of Music; Pretty Woman; Lonesome Dove; Chicago; The Pirates of the
Caribbean…I guess the list could go on!
Favorite
books: I did enjoy all the Harry Potter Books, and I like anything
that is true, as a rule. Currently I am reading the Bible. I find
it fascinating, humbling and awesome. (I finally found a version that
is easy to read and understand!)
 Favorite vacation spot:
Anywhere on
the coast of California, northern or southern.
Favorite music: Rock ‘n’
Roll from the 60’s is my favorite, but I love all kinds of music.
What do you like to do during your weekends?
Play on the computer sending e-mails to my grandchildren, read,
and of course, play with my dogs and cat.
Is there any particular advice you give to
students? Take your education seriously and finish. Doors will
open for you and the sky is the limit!
