How long have you been with Schreiner? Where were you prior? I have been here since September 6, 2005 and moved to Kerrville two days before that. Previously I worked in admissions for my alma mater, Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville,
MO.
What do you like best about Schreiner University? I love how everyone seems to know each other - it really is a "family-like" atmosphere. Plus the campus is gorgeous!
What Schreiner events do you enjoy? I really enjoy the
athletic
events I have been to - we have some great teams here!
Favorite food:
Mexican, ice cream, chocolate....do I have to pick one favorite?
Favorite books: I have too many favorites to list, but I am currently reading the
Harry Potter series with my nephews, Spencer & Jackson.
Favorite vacation spot:
Angel Fire, New Mexico and
Italy
What do you like to do during your weekends? I love to spend time in
Austin with my family - biking, boating,
seeing the bats, watching movies, eating out and just relaxing with them.
Is there any particular advice you would give to students?
Start the college process early! Your junior year of high school is a good time to try the SAT/ACT once and start narrowing down your choices. Make sure you visit campuses, because a tour can tell you right away if that college is for you.
