Why do you like Schreiner?
I have always been here. I went to summer school on campus and my
graduation ceremony from high school was even in the Robbins-Lewis
Pavilion. It was just a natural fit for me to work here.
What
Schreiner events do you enjoy? All of them. I enjoy
the dinners, graduations, and the sports events. Tennis is my favorite
sport and I like watching the
SU
players. I also follow the professional players and my favorite
is Andre Agassi.
Favorite
food: I don't really like food; probably because
I don't like to cook. If I had to pick something it would be oatmeal
because it helps keep your cholesterol down.
Favorite
books: Elizabeth Lowell; all of hers are good. She
studies, lives, and researches the territory to be very thorough
but it also includes a love story to keep you on the edge. [note:
Elizabeth
Lowell wrote Die in Plain Sight, This Time Love, Running
Scared, Too Hot to Handle, Eden Burning, Moving Target ]
Favorite vacation spot: A
backyard BBQ with friends over. I have traveled all over the United
States, to Japan and Italy because of the military but there is
nothing better than having friends over for a backyard party.

What do you like to do during your weekends? I don't
cook, so I starve (just kidding). When my grandsons are over, I
have to be quiet because they sleep until four in the afternoon.
I also watch a lot of tennis.
[note: two of Ma Parker's grandsons go to Schreiner. Her grandson
Garrett studied abroad last semester.]
Is
there any particular advice you give to students?
