	Vickie S. Position: Note Taker Supervisor for Learning Support Services Hometown: Boerne and raised in Austin, Texas. Moved to Houston, Texas in 1969. Moved to the Hill Country in 2003. How long have you been with Schreiner? Where were you prior? I have been with Schreiner since August 2003 - just a little over a year. Prior to that, I worked for 19 years as an administrative assistant/personal assistant on a ranch just outside of Houston.
What do you like best about Schreiner University? The Learning Support Services program! Having a child with learning disabilities, I think this is such a wonderful program. What do you like best about your position at Schreiner? The interaction with the students. It is really a lot of fun to help the students and to watch their reactions when everything comes together for them! Favorite food: Tex-Mex, of course! Favorite books: I would probably have to say anything by Stephen King. Favorite vacation spot: I used to say the Texas Hill Country, but now I live here! What do you like to do during your weekends? We are in the process of redoing our home - so there are always many projects to do. My family also enjoys going to the movies, flea markets, etc. Is there any particular advice you would give to students? Go to class! I know that it is so tempting at times to do other things but class attendance plays such an important part in each student's success.
