 Why do you like Schreiner? I have been associated with the
campus for as long as I can remember. My earliest memory of coming
here was when I was three. I had an uncle who lived on campus when
it was the Schreiner Military Institute and ran the dairy. I have
two cousins who were born on campus and lived here until their first
year of college.

What
Schreiner events do you enjoy? Recall and most sports, especially
basketball. I enjoy watching high school and professional basketball.
I am a Spurs fan.
Favorite food: Mexican food –
any of it and in large amounts.
Favorite
movie: Any John Wayne movie.
Favorite books: Bible and any self-improvement
books.
Favorite vacation spot:
I like Lake
Tahoe – in the summer and winter, anywhere in Colorado, and
Northern Virginia.
Favorite music: 50’s music. I
like most music really, except rap.
What
do you like to do during your weekends? Work on my hobbies
– tinker with cars, sports shooting, model trains and Diecast
cars. I also like to spend quality time with my grandson.
Is there any particular advice you give to
students? Education is an investment in their future. Also,
invest your time wisely and make sure to find a balance.
Side
Note: Milton has two sons, his oldest works in Austin and
manages a restaurant. His youngest is in the Navy and has spent
most of the last 33 months in the Persian Gulf.
