*Single rooms at Faulkner, Flato, LA Schreiner, Delaney and Trull are allowed only if space permits.
All residential students must select and keep the same meal plan for an entire academic year. Meal plan changes will only be made between semesters upon request and with approval from the Office of Residence Life and must be made prior to the start of the new semester.
Returning students --Meal plans are determined by the number of college credit hours earned at the end of the previous spring semester.
Transfer students – All residential transfer students will be required to purchase the MOUNTAINEER or higher for their first long semester at Schreiner University. At the conclusion of their first long semester, transfer students will be allowed to select a meal plan based on the number of college credit hours transferred and verified by the Schreiner University Registrar’s Office.
Freshmen students -- (those with 0-29 earned college credit hours) MUST choose either the Unlimited Access or the Captain Schreiner plan.
Commuter students -- may pick any plan listed below or may choose not to have one at all.
Meal Plan Requirements
if you have;
0 – 29 (earned college credit hrs.) must select either the Unlimited Access or the Captain Schreiner.
30 – 59 (earned college credit hrs.) can choose the Unlimited Access, Captain Schreiner or Mountaineer.
60+ (earned college credit hrs.) can choose any meal plan listed below with the exception of the Commuter Plan.
Unlimited entry to the Dining Hall with 50 Monty Bucks
15 meals a week in Dining Hall with 225 Monty Bucks
14 meals a week in Dining Hall with 50 Monty Bucks
5 meals per week in Dining Hall with 300 Monty Bucks
*Only commuters are eligible for these plans. All residential students must choose from DB 750 or higher.
10 meals per semester + $225 Declining Balance
20 meals per semester + $150 Declining Balance
30 meals per semester + $75 Declining Balance
