Phi Epsilon, Oaks Community Council, Campus Ministry, IGC, Alpha
Chi.
Favorite Music/Band:
I listen to pretty much anything.
Favorite Movie:
Casablanca, Shoot 'Em Up, and The Little Mermaid ... just
to name a few.
Off-campus activities/interests:
Film, politics, humanitarianism,
art, photography, literature, architecture, cooking, baking,
swimming, sleeping, history, fishing, The One Campaign, Save Darfur,
Invisible Children, Spelunking, etc.
Favorite Food:
Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Turkish, Mexican ... I'll try
everything at least once.
Favorite Book: East of Eden by John Steinbeck,
Atonement by Ian McEwan, The Power and the Glory by
Graham Greene, The Stranger by Albert Camus, and Crime and
Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky.
My Accomplishments: Recently, I would have to say my
greatest accomplishment is passing my Intro to Logic class. Thank
you, Dr. Feltz, for helping me understand the capricious and
mind-boggling world of Logic.
Role Models: My mother and grandmother.
They've experienced so much hardship and gone through the worst
tribulations, yet they're always laughing and smiling and ready to
take on life. They've both worked so hard and sacrificed so much to
get where they are today. Their love, strength, faith, and positive
attitudes inspire me.
What do you like most about Schreiner
University? You don't have 300 kids crammed into one
classroom ... the professors remember your name (and so do the
staff) ... and it doesn't take me 30
minutes to walk to class. Oh, and the deer ... I really like the
deer.
What are your plans after SU?
Graduate school ... and after that I'd love to either
direct/produce films, become a politician, or be a UN/UNICEF
ambassador and document on film my humanitarian work to try and
spread awareness of global issues. Or I could do all three. I
haven't decided yet.
