	August B. hometown: Spring Branch, Texas (Smithson Valley High School) major & / or favorite class/subject @ SU: My major is Biochemistry. My favorite class is either Botany or Aesthetic Experience. Botany is interesting because I learn a lot of cool stuff about plants. Aesthetic Experience is cool because the subject content is a nice change from my science classes, but it doesn't require a lot of homework. It also makes me think about things differently. It has helped change my world view. favorite food: I am on the food committee for Schreiner, and I like a variety of foods. I can not say that I have a favorite food, except maybe Pepperoni Pizza. I don't like salad.

"Office Space" is my favorite movie. favorite music/band/etc.: I like all different types of music. I really like A Perfect Circle because the lyrics of their songs are very philosophical and show intellect. on-campus activities: LSS Notetaker, an Alpha Lambda Delta member, and Schreiner Honors Program. what do you like to do OFF-CAMPUS? (hobbies, etc.): Play Soccer, discuss philosophy, hang out, go out to eat. my greatest accomplishment? My greatest accomplishment was overcoming a blood infection in 2001. I was in the hospital almost a month, and had a blood transfusion and two surgeries. why do you like Schreiner? Lotsa stuff. I like the people, and the class sizes. I like the fact that we can get to know our professors outside of the classroom, and that they look at us as real people. I also like that the faculty and staff have a genuine concern for our well being and progress.
